Academic Business Incubators were set up in 2004 as a continuation of the activity of the Business Centre Club Student Forum founded in 2000 under the patronage of the Business Centre Club, the largest private employers’ organization in Poland.
It soon became the leading student organization in Poland having 15 regional branch offices. The objective implemented via SF BCC is to change Poland so that young individuals see the future of their professional and business oriented careers in their mother country instead of emigrating abroad.
ABI is the largest recent academic initiative aiming at the development of entrepreneurship among young Polish individuals. ABI operates in the premises of the 31 best universities in Poland.

The ABI Incubator Network is the largest such institution in the East-Central Europe. More than 600 developing companies operate within this framework.
ABI gathers young, ambitious and well-educated individuals, enabling them to combine their theoretical, academic knowledge with practical experience possible to gain only in the course of running a private enterprise. The support provided by ABI enables those young individuals to become true professionals in their respective fields of business.
