The experience of diverse aspirations, needs and expectations of the employees of Bank Zachodni WBK and its socio-economic surroundings have been for years inspiring the Bank to implement undertakings oriented at equating development opportunities of local communities. The Bank’s intention is to fight social inequalities and facilitate development of entrepreneurship through the range of its activities and cooperation with the participants of business and social life.

BZWBK understands entrepreneurship in a broader context. When thinking about a bank, the natural association is the development of financial instruments and services, enabling accomplishment of business aspirations. In BZWBK we perceive entrepreneurship also as the practical abilities indispensable for personal development and taking one’s share of responsibility for the integration and prosperity of local community. Participation in the strengthening of entrepreneurship as the national trait of Poles in cooperation with Entrepreneurial Poland is implemented through personal finance and responsible business workshops, as well as providing support in terms of information and finance.

It is our hope that the example of integration of the competences of a financial institution with the needs of young Polish individuals in terms of entrepreneurship will serve as evidence that effective cooperation between business and the third sector contributes to the creation of civic attitudes, social and economic development.
